Thanks for your interest in making a donation. The BYM Camping Program is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax deductible organization.
Contributions can be made to the camping program and the camp properties online! Use your credit card, transfer funds from your bank account, or schedule regular payments. We will send thank-you letters for tax records for donations over $50. People can donate to the Barry Morley Camp Scholarship Endowment; Camp Properties General Fund; Camp Program General Fund; current year financial aid for campers; Lagoon Fund; and Cabin Fund.
Barry Morley Camp Scholarship Endowment
The Barry Morley Scholarship Endowment was created in memory of Barry Morley, a director at Catoctin for over 20 years. The interest from this fund helps to offset camper scholarships every year. A gift to the endowment lives forever and helps provide much needed funding for camper financial aid.
A donation to the Camp Properties General Fund helps us maintain our properties. It will be used in the current area of greatest need for our properties.
A donation to the Camp Program General Fund helps us pay for program related expenses and will be used in the current area of greatest need.
A donation for Financial Aid for campers differs from the Barry Morley Endowed Fund in that this is a gift that will help pay for a camper to attend camp in the current year. Click to download a PDF on how to help campers who need financial aid.
A donation in this area will be used in our continuing effort to replace cabins at each of our camps. Each year, we are building one or two new cabins to replace old cabins to keep the structures sound and safe.

A NOTE ON OUR PROGRAMS:
Our goal is to foster the kind of self-esteem that facilitates spiritual growth. Opportunities for such growth are created in the process of supporting campers through challenging experiences. Success in negotiating rapids or exploring artistic creativity offers a deeper strength from which to accept the challenge and risk of turning inward toward the Light. Typically, a camper goes home a more competent, confident person whose spiritual roots have deepened and whose ties to the broader Quaker community have strengthened.
